Job Overview

For our Central Sales Team in EMEA we are looking for a positive, ambitious and senior Inside Sales Engineer who will be responsible for business to business sales for a diverse range of Network & Security products and solutions. This role is critical for the growth of a our global programs within the EMEA organization.

 

The Central Sales Team is a fast paced team who services our global customers in the EMEA region, deploying projects all around the world.

Your responsibilities

  • RFI and RFQ responses on an international, regional or local level
  • Generating sales quotes promptly and accurately
  • Handling customer inquires with great follow up skills to provide excellent customer service and grow the business
  • Pricing negotiations with vendors for specific local and/or international projects
  • Working closely with Account Managers to tailor the Anixter services and solutions to the customer needs
  • Contract/Agreement negotiations – working with our Legal department, coordinating feedback and provide input on commercial decisions
  • Pipeline, project and forecast information
  • Warm call activities to uncover opportunities in the market
  • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty and retention
  • Actively engage Anixter colleagues and resources in different countries to provide a complete customer solution in cross border opportunities
  • Work effectively with others in a virtual team environment
  • Identify and resolve problems (at customer and within Anixter)

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Inside Sales experience
  • Self-starter and capable to work in a virtual team environment
  • Great communication with manager on remote-basis
  • Result & quality driven
  • Able to work with various and different cultures
  • Adapt easily when working with various stake holders within the organisation
  • Good product knowledge of key product portfolio (NSS business unit) – able to quickly offer alternative product solutions
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • High attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude, dynamic, result driven, eager to learn and ambitious
  • Well structured, good planning skills and prioritizes effectively
  • Immune to stress, enthusiastic and confident nature
